Searching for connection on my ggggggrandfather Samuel B. SCHAFFER born about 1808. He married Harriet EMERICK in 1830. They had one daughter Eliza Jane. She married John LAWYER. He was born in Kansas. They had six children. The first born was my gggrandmother, Nancy. She was born May 30, 1857 in Springfield. What I have heard, she had my ggrandmother, Lida out of wedlock. Lida was born on December 14, 1874 in Springfield. Her fathers name was SHAW. John, Eliza, and thier children, along with Nancy and Lida moved to Washington State. Thanks, Julie Hendrix
