Hi I am looking for information on a William George who moved to Sangamon Co, Illinois in 1829/30. He was married to a Nancy Hazlett and they had 3 boys that I know of, John, Francis and James William. There was also two daughters, Mary and Jenny. Mary was married to a James Ward. James William George was married to a Rebecca Jane Bowen whose father was Ezekiel "ZaZa" Bowen and they lived in the Loami area. I know where William is buried but have not been able to find the death of his wife or where is buried or if he might have remarried. He is buried at Buckhart and the stone only has his name and the name of a daughter inscribed on it. He was a veteran of the war of 1812. If anyone can be of help would like to hear from you. Sharon
