I am glad that this list has begun as I have ancestors who were in the general area, I think. I am researching CANNON, HOWERTER, DUNMIRE, CAMERON, LYNCH names. Right now I am trying to find more about BENJAMIN CANNON born about 1787 in SC. He married NANCY CAMERON abt. 1817. Their oldest child Mahala CANNON was born abt 1817 in Sangamon Co, Il so I am wondering if they were married there. He appears in the 1830 Fulton Co, Ill census and the rest of the children were born in Fulton Co. Thank you for any information anyone has on these names, especially BENJAMIN CANNON. Roselyn
