Hello all, I am researching from Washington and Jefferson County,IL, starting in 1840 with Levi NEWCOMB-born in 1814 KY-Levi married a Anna T.Dennis-12-31-1841 in Nashville,IL,raised their family in Richview. MCCOY family came from Bedford,TN to IL in 1860 and settled in both counties. Joseph MCCALIP came to IL in about 1850's-married Mary Smith in 1858 in Jefferson County,IL.
