The Williams would be a male who was married to either Nancy Mabry or her dau, Malissa. Malissa b. 1835/Marion Co, was the dau of Nancy Mabry and Malissa's father is most probably a Mr. Williams or Hartwell Hines. OR Malissa had a marriage to a Mr. Williams prior to her 1856 marriage to William Clow. On the marriage license to William Clow, Malissa's surname was Williams (hope that's not too confusing). On the Smith line, I'm researching Barbary Kirts Smith (m. Green Pittman in 1850/IN). Her first marriage was to Nelson Smith in Bartholomew Co IN. They had several children...one a son, Charles, who lived in Fayette Co IL. Hartwell Hines married Nancy Mabry, they lived in Fayette Co documented in 1850-60 census. In 1863, Nancy Hines married Henry Bass. Marie Pittman
Hi List, I am desperately searching for the parents and any siblings of Mary Lourene LANDRUM, born 1832 in Wilson Co. TN. She came to Illinois with her parents when she was 8 years old. She married (1) Thomas C. WILLIAMS in 1850 in Fayette Co., they had 8 children. After Thomas died, she married (2) David Ralston HANNA in 1877 in Marion Co., and they had one child. My g.grandfather, John Frederick RAMSBURG died in the Montgomery County, IL Poor Farm and is buried in their cemetery. We have a death certificate but are interested in finding out where we can get access to any other records they might have and to get information on where the cemetery is. All inquiries to the Courthouse and Genealogy Society in Montgomery County have gone unanswered. Does anyone have an idea where we might write or phone to get information. I am looking for two Fluss brothers, William (Wilhelm) b. bet 1823 and 1827 and Henry (Heinrich) b. 1828. I know they were living in south east Tazewell Co during the Civil War but can find no trace of them after that.
