    2. roselyn george
    3. I am glad that this list has begun as I have ancestors who were in the general area, I think. I am researching CANNON, HOWERTER, DUNMIRE, CAMERON, LYNCH names. Right now I am trying to find more about BENJAMIN CANNON born about 1787 in SC. He married NANCY CAMERON abt. 1817. Their oldest child Mahala CANNON was born abt 1817 in Sangamon Co, Il so I am wondering if they were married there. He appears in the 1830 Fulton Co, Ill census and the rest of the children were born in Fulton Co. Thank you for any information anyone has on these names, especially BENJAMIN CANNON. Roselyn

    3. Connie Hi, I do not have much on her yet. I do know she was born in 1816,in TN and married Levi 12-31-1841 in Nashville,IL. When i moved to that part of the family,i will keep you in mind-oh yea-she died in 1880 and is buried in Richview cemetery. Keep me in mind-ok,because i think her whole family lived in this area before she was married-from what i have found on her husband Levi. 3. Please do not post any information about living people on the list. One of the main reasons is that ANYONE can read the archives of the list and we all know there are folks out there who are not wonderful. You don't want them to have information on you and others feel the same. It's better to play it safe. Your cooperation is appreciated. Cheryl Rothwell Central Illinois Regional Coordinator ILGenWeb

    3. In reply to Carolyn Wilburn Medlin, I have William WILBURN in my data. He was the second husband of Elizabeth TAYLOR. Her first marriage was to Richard JOLLIFF, Jr. William WILBURN is on the 1860 census of Washington Co. IL., p. 851, in the household of James Erasmus JOLLIFF. That census shows that he was born 1830 in Maryland. The book, A Jolliff Family History, With Rheas, Faulkners, Holstlaws, Alexanders", by Elisabeth Dill Hartline, shows on p. 66, that William WILBURN died March 16, 1870. There were BREEZEs married to Taylors, Jolliffs and some other related families. I think they were in Marion, Washington and probably some of the nearby counties. Dot

    3. I am a bit flabbergasted to see my name, my husband's and my parents' on a subscription list. I thought it was a courtesy to omit names of living people, except when writing to individuals, but not an entire list. If whether living or dead is unknown, I thought good judgment would be to omit them. I could fill in some of the question marks, on the list sent by Jerryblay, but I am hesitant to do so. 3. Didn't see anyone "real close", but the Breezes' are related to my husband's Breezes' in Marion Co., from Indian. Do you have anything more on William Wilburn? Was he from VA ? I have a Wilburn line from VA to KY to IL, but they didn't make it to IL until 1910! But I think they are related to the Peter that ends up in Marion Co., IL also. Happy hunting!
