Looking for information on John Thomas STAPLETON that married Millissa LUCAS in Sangamon/Logan Co. in 1833. Most of their children were born in these counties. Right now I am trying to find more about BENJAMIN CANNON born about 1787 in SC. He married NANCY CAMERON abt. 1817. Her first marriage was to Richard JOLLIFF, Jr. William WILBURN is on the 1860 census of Washington Co. IL., p. 851, in the household of James Erasmus JOLLIFF. That census shows that he was born 1830 in Maryland. The book, A Jolliff Family History, With Rheas, Faulkners, Holstlaws, Alexanders", by Elisabeth Dill Hartline, shows on p. 66, that William WILBURN died March 16, 1870. There were BREEZEs married to Taylors, Jolliffs and some other related families. I think they were in Marion, Washington and probably some of the nearby counties. Dot
