    1. 1920/Chicago, Cook/Julius JESCHKE
    2. I am searching for a Julius JESCHKE in Chicago, Cook, Illinois in 1920. In 1900 he was a blacksmith at #1308 North Tripp Avenue in Northwest Chicago. Wife Amelia/Emelia. In 1910 he was a blacksmith living alone at #431 South Halsted Street. No wife listed with him. In 1930 he was a widower, blacksmith living with his son Edward JESCHKE at #10333 South N Street in South Chicago. I have not been able to find a 1920 census listing for Julius. In case someone is willing to try to tackle the 1920 census, here is some info that might help. Would he be living with his son Edward? Julius born June 1861 in Germany/Prussia/Posen. Immigrated to America 1888 Wife: Amelie, Emilie. Children: Max, born June 1892 in Illinois Edward born March 1895 Illinois William born Dec 1895 Illinois Occupation: Blacksmith Alternate possible spellings: JESKE, JAESCHKE. (Pronounced YESHKEE) Thank you so much for your help. Sincerely, Katherine Bellingham, WA
