I am looking for: George McIntyre/McIntire born 1836 in Ohio. Listed in 1860 Calhoun Co census as 25 yrs of age. In 1860 married to Laura unknown, to young for marriage in 1850, I think. Do not know anything else to help. Nina Williams-WA

Illinois on-line marr. index has a union of George McIntire to Laura C. Greathouse on 6/29/1859 in Calhoun co. Since they were without issue in 1860, could be them. Also, living next door to George was a John McIntire, 23. Both are wagon makers and both born Oh. Nativities of John's children would indicate they were in Oh. in 1850.
