    3. Darren, Ancestry.com has some info transcribed from the 1900 census record on their site. Hinrichs Anna, head, b Feb 1846, age 54 wd, b Germany, both parents b in Germany; George W, son, b Feb 1876 age 24, single, b in IL, both parents b in Germany Henrieta L,daughter,b Sept 1882/3age 13, single,b in IL,both parents b in Germany Emma F Cambre, daughter,b 1879,age 20, married,b in IL,both parents b in Germany (note:I'm not sure if the transcriber recorded Emma's married name correctly. I couldn't find anything on her) After I magnified the census page, I also found: Anna had 9 children, 8 were still living in 1900;she emigrated in 1846;36 yrs in USA Ancestry.com also had the 1918 WWI registration card for George-here's info that may provide clues: Full name: George Washington Hinricks, b Feb 22 1876;married to Lillian; current address 628 Central Ave Alton IL;working as a machinist at Herbert Owens in Alton in 1918. (note: his signature has surname ending in "..hicks") Hope this helps! I have a sub to HQ but the bottom part of the page is too dark to read and of course the family I'm after is in the last few lines. ...and the family of Annie Hinricks, age 54, widowed, born in Germany, Thanks a bunch in advance if anyone else has better luck reading this family!
