Dulaney, 85, of Flora, died at 9 p.m. Sunday, November 23, 2008, at Country Lane Boarding Home in Flora. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora and from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Church of the Nazarene in Flora. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church with Pastor Phil Alvord officiating. Interment will be in Floral Garden of Memories in Flora. Mrs. Dulaney was born on April 24, 1923, in Otto, the daughter of Thadd Estes Rodgers and Pansy (Dudley) Hoskins. She married William E. "Bill" Dulaney on June 20, 1942, in Old Monroe, Mo. He preceded her in death on August 4, 1999. She was a charter member of Church of the Nazarene in Flora, and was a primary Sunday school teacher and song leader at the church for over 60 years. Melba was the official hugger and church grandmother. Mrs. Dulaney is survived by two daughters, Carol Robinson and her husband, Larry, of Flora, and JoAnn McKnight and her husband, Allen, of Flora; one brother, Stanley Rodgers and his wife, Pauline, of Flora; three sisters, Faith Pugh, of Vincennes, Ind., Marilyn Sledge and her husband, Walt, of Flora, and Carolyn Sehie and her husband, Bernard, of Flora; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one daughter, Frances Rayjean; one brother, Clyde Robert Hoskins; and one sister, June Trago.
