I am researching my WILLMANN family in Illinois. I found my gg-grandfather JOSEPH WILLMANN b. 4-25-1811 Germany on the 1850 Bond Co Ill Census under the name WIELMAN. JOSEPH WILLMANN 39 PAULINA nee HUBER 37 MICHAEL WILLMANN 10 The family came to America on the ship The Chesapeake on 3-18-1846 arriving at the Port of New Orleans. I cannot find JOSEPH & PAULINA again. I know there was a flu epidemic about that time. Are there any listings of victims in the BOND or Madison Co Ill area. For some reason I cannot MICHAEL WILLMANN until his married in 1867. I have found the marriage record of my great grandfather MICHAEL WILLMANN to MARGARET STUMPF on 1-10-1867 in Highland Madison Co Illinois. Any leads would be, greatly, appreciated.
