Hello Mary Ann, In the 1870 I found a 53 yr old Wm Hewitt in Bureau. He appears in the 1860 same area and was 42 that year. Neither a Chauncy or Almina are with this William in the 1860 or 70, however seeing Wm he was born MA I found a Chaucny "Ransford" in MA in the 1860. Although don't know how old Chauncy should be I included it at bottom. There were other HEWITT on the Bureau cnty images, so I included them in case they are related.
