Could I ask someone to look at 1890 Census for Chicago Cook Illinois to see if Robert Newton and wife Louisa and any family are still on the census. They were there in 1870 and 1880. Thank you from Robyn in NSW Australia
Hello Robyn, Most of the 1890 was destroyed and nothing remains on the federal level for IL. I took a look in the 1900, but they didn't show up in the index for Cook County, or IL. I didn't see their son William? either. Perhaps another lister will have better luck.
