I am searching for a Max A. JESCHKE, wife's name starting with an H? Daughter Imogene. His parents were from Germany, but I believe Max was born in Illinois. I do not know his age. He may have lived in South Chicago, land of the steel mills. Any census entry would be helpful, but he is more likely to be in 1910-1920 probably. Thank you so much for your help. Sincerely, Katherine Bellingham, Washington
Kath, Max A, 26, Il, Ger, Ger, & Hellanda 25, Il, Ger, Il & Imogene, 1 9/12, Il. first appear on 1920 in Chicago living on Ave. O., which if memory still serves me, is on the s.e. side near the mills, where he probably walked to work as a fireman on a blast furnace. Dick May you live to be a hundred, with an extra year to repent!
