I'm looking for a Robert Jamieson family in the 1900 or 1910 census. They were probably living in Oglesby, LaSalle County, IL. Robert was born ca. 1949, so he would be app. 50 years old in 1900. He was born in Irvine, Ayr, Scotland. His wife's name was Catherine, born ca. 1850 in Ayr, Scotland. Catherine may have been dead by 1910. One of my interests is trying to pinpoint when she died since I can find no record of her death before or after 1916. Robert and Catherine had a son, James Jamieson, who would have been around 9 in 1900. Thanks for any help you can give me. Hi Cheryl, Yes that is probably Jesse Crow who was the father of my grandfather James Augustus Crow. My Ollie Pennell Crow married James Augustus Crow. He was born in Williamson Co., IL. Feb. 15, 1880. They were married Oct. 1902 so should have appeared together in 1910 and 1920 and 1930 in Villa Ridge or Mounds, Pulaski Co., IL. I believe Jesse Crow lived with Ollie and James Crow in 1930 as he died in 1933. Would the JA Crow you sent be 38, born in 1881? Or was there a census in 1881 in Pulaski Co., IL.? This is somewhat confusing to me. My great-grandfather, Jesse Crow was born in 1844. It is possible, I suppose that this Jesse Crow you sent is not mine. There were several Jesse Crow men in the same line. I do appreciate your help.
