Does the entry include a wife and daughter? Edwin immigrated from Sweden in 1904 and wife Martina in 1907. A lookup please for my ggrandfather Peter Verboncoeur, who resided in Kankakee. Not sure if this was city or county. Last name could be Verboncoeur or Vadeboncoeur, which are variations of the same French Canadian "dit" name. Could also be combined with Deschabrillier ( ex. Deschabrillier dit Verboncoeur ). Family tradition has it he anglicized his name about this time for a while to "Hart". Wife's name was Magdalene; son George Verboncoeur was born Feb 1859 in Kankakee, so I hope the family was still there in 1860.
