Mollie's mother, Mahala Farris was also probably born in IN, but in the 1910 census Mollie's mother was reportedly born in MO. Fleming and Mahala were married in Owen Co., IN. Mollie's mother died and her children were sent to live with other families by 1880. We don't know who raised Mollie, but 3 of the 5 McGuire siblings were raised in Gasconade Co., MO. It is possible that Mollie was "adopted" by the family she was sent to live with and took their name. In 1906 Mollie/Mary remarried Henry Sherman Albert in Clinton Co., IL. It was his 3rd and her 2nd marriage.
