    3. Interesting. It was noted that votes for the 101 best Web Sites was solicited on our own England Web Page. I didn't know that the vote was already tallied. This is neat, quite a feather in the developer's caps. Congratulations to Carol and Nate for creating the 101 best site. 3. Yes Mary. I don't know what I'm doing yet, but I am trying and misses like Carlow will be soon addressed. Volunteers actually exceed vacancies so, with a little luck, all counties will be covered soon. We still need volunteers for upcoming committees. As an announcement, someone asked Nate about my viewpoint about some issues. My viewpoints have never been a secret. If anyone wants to review, just omit the middle man and directly ask me off list. That is the only place I will discuss a personal opinion, most especially a contentious one.<grin> "It's a long ways to T." Thanks for the touch Mary. Now back to bed. 3. Hi Carol. Being responsive to this list: The rules committee, Newby Host and selecting coordinators for orphan counties were announced on this IGW-CC list several times in the last eight months. If I was not clear in the announcements that I personally made, I apologize. I intend to keep my promises to make or recommend necessary changes. 2. Mary A. Kelly
    3. Hi Don: Don't know if you're well enough right now to be worred about the 'fuzzy' wgw logo on the main IrelandGenWeb page. It looks fuzzy right now because it is a 100 X 100 pixel graphic with the html image tag set at 150 X 150. The WGW logo page at <http://www.worldgenweb.org/images/index.html> doesn't give the html coding for each sample as most such sites do. The graphic current displayed on the main IGW page is the 3rd from the top in the right row, and would display clearly at the smaller size once the image tag was adjusted to 100 X 100. If you wanted to display the larger graphic, then the 2nd image in the right row would be uploaded with an image tag showing a width and height of 160 X 160. It is always so much easier to properly upload an organization's logo properly when the correctly coded html tags are listed along with the graphics - I'm sure it's just an oversight on WGW's part. 3. Maura Petzolt has volunteered to manage the Ireland Project rules and bylaws committee. Barbara Laven has volunteered to welcome new county hosts and help them get started with their county and/or query pages. Project leaders will select their own staff and will announce new volunteers here. Thanks Barbara and Maura for becoming Ireland project volunteers. We have enough projects coming up to keep everyone busy. More volunteers wanted. Thanks all Don

    1. [IGW-cc] the vote
    2. I have been asked byDon to ask Pascal to disclose who got what. I informed Don Iwould do no such thing. Several will see this as being mean, or underhanded. Fact is, I will not ask Pascal simply because of what happened over the last few days. I see no reason to ask him to change his mind simply because several people want to know how many votes I or Don. I also see no reason why we need to know how many of the CC's actually voted. To me this is just a way to gloat. As I already said I made a statement to Pascal. What Pascal chose to do is Pascal's decision. I will tell you I asked him to not do it because of what I foresaw happening; it came to fruition. I have been informed a grievance was filed against Pascal and Nate I assume for the manner in which this election was held. I am also told because I was the stated reason I am involved whether I like it or not. If the grievance committee follows up on this foot stomping I will inform the committee what I said and forward a copy. However, I have not been asked for such. I am not throwing a temper tantrum here about being the excuse. In fact, if Nate and Pascal chose my reasons for not posting the results then I congratulate them in making a wise decision. I will not deny I made the request and I see no reason to allow anyone to use the request in any greivance which will be seen as IGW throwing a temper tantrum to WGW. Nor will I allow them to torment others the way they are attempting with me. As Don stated it is in the past. Let it be. Barb Lavin
