E. Snyder, a veteran of the Civil War and one of the leading citizens of our community, died at his home east of town yesterday morning at the age of 72 years. Funeral services will be held this afternoon at one o'clock conducted by Rev. H. F. Knight. Six Civil War comrades will act as pall bearers. There will be fitting services at the cemetery.
