Very little is known of his early life, but he lived in the west for the past 16 or 17 years. He was married in 1912 to Nannie Lee Grey at Interior, Washington. He moved to the Payette Valley about a year ago. Mr. Darby was taken ill about four months ago and died at the Ontario hospital Saturday morning at 11 o'clock. (Parkview Cemetery)
