Mr. Peter Joseph Russell of Idaho Falls and Miss Francis Isabel Stroup, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Stroup, of Washoe, were united in marriage at the home of the bride’s parents, on Thursday last, February 22, at high noon, Justice J. S. Thurston officiating. There were present only the relatives of the bride and a few friends of the contracting parties. An hour after the ceremony the bride and groom, friends and relatives partook of a wedding feast, the wedded pair taking their departure for Boise on the 4 o’clock train. The following is a list of the presents: Miss May McGlinchey, set of silver nut crackers. Mr. Wm. M. Coughanour, large vase lamp. Mrs. W. W. Paine, silver butter knife. Miss J. Kelleher, silver sugar shell. Miss Bess and Mr. Earl Venable, gold lined soup ladle. Mr. and Mrs. N. Drumm, St. Louis Mo., eider down comfort. Mr. and Mrs. J. Dwyer, Pocatello, Idaho, silver butter dish and knife. Ira E. Draper, Los Angeles, Cal., handsomely embroidered white silk handkerchief. Mr. A. A. Stroup, Chine smokers set. Miss Alta Stroup, glass fruit basket on silver stand. Mrs. S. L. Byram, embroidered linen center piece and onyx tray with comb and brush. Mrs. J. Stroup, table linen and set of silver knives and forks. Streeter Stroup, potato grater. Photographer Brown of this city was present on the occasion and took some interesting groups.
