A. STROUP HELD MONDAY Alonzo Atwood Stroup was born June 20, 1873, near Malheur Butte, Ontario, Oregon, and died February 15, 1931, at the age of 58 years. He spent his entire life in this community, living for a number of years in Washoe. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife and four children, two sons and two daughters, his mother, two brothers and three sisters besides a host of friends. Mr. Stroup was a member of the Baptist church, to which faith he remained true to the end. Funeral services were held from the Peterson Funeral home, February 16, Rev. A. C. Lathrop conducting the service. Interment was made in Riverside cemetery.
