Born March 16, 1887, in Joplin, Mo., he lived a short time in Iowa, and moved with his parents to Bellevue, where they operated a farm and later a livery stable. When automobiles first became available, the family started one of the first automotive garages in Idaho, and they operated it for several years. He married Hannah Elizabeth Toole on March 12, 1910, in Wendell. After a brief time in Wendell, they moved to Weiser, where he was in the garage business with his brother, Clyde. After living in Weiser and Arena Valley, they came to New Plymouth in 1924. Mrs. Wilson died last March 27. Mr. Wilson was also preceded in death by a brother, John. He was a member of the Payette County Fifty-year club, and he served as deputy assessor of Payette county for several years. Surviving him are four sons, Charles L. Wilson of Modesto, Calif., John S. Wilson of Payette, Leonard R. Wilson of Boise, and Harold L. Wilson of Belmont, Calif., a brother, Clyde Wilson of Weiser; a sister, Mrs. Ethel Harrison of Boise; and six grandchildren. Services were conducted today (Wednesday) at the New Plymouth Shaffer Memory chapel by the Rev. Richard England of the Congregational church of New Plymouth. Interment will follow at Park View cemetery in New Plymouth.
