Pool, a pioneer of the Payette Valley, died at Hotel Idaho in this city last Saturday about 5 o’clock in the afternoon, of heart failure, as a result of blood poisoning. Mr. Pool stuck a nail in his right foot on Tuesday, from the effects of which he suffered terribly until the end came. The deceased was 39 years of age and leaves a wife and several children to mourn his untimely taking off. Rev. B. F. Clay delivered an impressive funeral discourse at Lamme’s hall Sunday afternoon at 5 o’clock, the large building was filled to its utmost capacity by friends and acquaintances of the deceased. The interment took place at Riverside cemetery.
