Mr. Mason had been ill all winter. The funeral was held Tuesday at the Mason home at 2 o’clock, with Rev. Chas D. Gaffney officiating. Interment was made in the Parkview cemetery. Mr. Mason and his family came to New Plymouth in 1896 and in the fall of that year he homesteaded the farm on which the family has since resided. Mr. Mason is survived by his wife, four daughters, Daisy Mason, Mrs. Harry Thompson of Spokane; Mrs. Will Edwards of New Plymouth; and Mrs. Weir Baker of Boise; and one son Howard of Atlanta, Georgia.
