Mr. and Mrs. Will Bach of Star visited Mrs. Durkin, Friday. Miss Annie Pauhe departed for Loveland, Colorado, to remain there with her father. Mr. Thos. Burwell made a business trip to New Plymouth, Tuesday. Mr. Elmer Pruitt went to Dry Buck, Monday, for a load of lumber for a new house on his lot in Emmett. Mrs. E. Farnam, of Boise, returned home Friday, after spending two weeks with her daughter, Mrs. James Baird. Alex. and Thos. Castles of New Plymouth furnished the music for the dance at Green's Friday night. Mr. and Mrs. Kinkaid entertained a few of their friends at flinch, Monday night. Mr. Chas. Reed, of Bramwell, was seen on our streets, Tuesday.

Mrs. Dan Larrabee is confined to her bed with spotted fever. There will be a big dance Friday, the 17th at the school house. Mr. Hamill of Nampa was in our town Friday and Saturday. Mr. Harvey Price of Edison, Tennessee is visiting at the home of Chris Christensen. Our school closes Friday and the pupils are preparing a program which all should attend. Mr. and Mrs. Will Bach, of Star, visited the latter's sister, Mrs. M.E. Kincaid, Saturday. Mr. Hoagland's mother and father arrived here Friday to visit for a short time with their son. Mrs. Wm McCrossin and family, of Emmett, were the guests of her brother, Will Stuart, three days last week. Mr. G. W. Gordon expects to move to Emmett next week, having bought an interest in the Emmett Mercantile Company. Mr. Henry Asmussen has built an addition to his house and on Friday night gave a big dance, at which everybody present enjoyed themselves, immensely.

A number from here attended the box social at the Bissell School house last evening. Mr. McCarty spent Sunday at New Plymouth. Mrs. D. Nichols entertained a few of her friends Friday evening at her home. Whist and flinch were played till after midnight. Mrs. John Nesbitt visited Mrs. Orchard at Brainwell, Monday. Mr. Kelley has been confined to his bed the past week with la grippe. Mrs. Kinkaid and Mrs. Durkin visited at Bramwell, Saturday. A surprise party was tendered to Mr. and Mrs. Frank Nesbit on Wednesday night in honor of the latter's birthday. Dancing was indulged in, and the hostus was voted a fine entainer. Mr. Iven from near Payette has moved his family into the house lately vacated by James Green. Mr. E. Chandler made a business trip to Emmett, Sunday. Mr. G. W. Gorden was a New Plymouth visitor, Friday.

H. Flagg have the sympathy of the community in the loss of their little daughter. The funeral was held at the home on Saturday morning last. Though they never had reason to hope that the little one would live yet the parting was a sad one. With flowers and Christian songs and precious words from the Bible the body was placed in Park View cemetery. The spirit of the loved one is forever with the lord. Note: Acording to the cemetery records, Alice Carrie Flagg was born 2-27-1904 and died 6-24-1904. ch
