She was born April 24, 1921, in Ogden, the daughter of John Shaker and Alice Jenkins Malouf. She was educated in Ogden schools. She worked at the Ogden Arsenal until she was married to Ralph D. Jones on July 19, 1946, in Dillon., Montana. They made their home in Malad where she was a housewife and mother. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, in which she served in many callings; the one she loved the most was the primary. She is survived by one son and one daughter: Jerry D. Jones of Malad and Alice and Rod Moon of Malad; three grandchildren who she loved so very much, Neal and Dena Moon, Mindy and Wes Allen, all of Malad, and Tim Moon of Pocatello. Also, three great-grandchildren, Jayden Moon, Bree Moon and Emily Allen. Also brothers and sisters Murry and Karlene Malouf of Belmont, Ca.; Johnny Malouf of Ogden, Utah; Ellen and Ralph Williams of Ogden, Utah; Janice and Tom Grajek, Walnut Creek, Calif; and Edward Malouf, Las Vegas, Nev. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, a brother Jerry and sister Leatha. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, August 12, 2003, at 1 p.m. at the Malad Second LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call on Monday evening at the Horlsey Funeral Home in Malad from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. and on Tuesday 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Malad Cemetery.Services are under the direction of the Horsley Funeral Home.
