He was born July 2, 1936, along with his twin sister, Martha, in Malad, Idaho to Glenden Jacob and Lola Ethel Nutting Jensen. The family lived in Holbrook, Idaho and McMinville, Oregon for a time before making their home in Oxford, Idaho. He graduated from West Side High School in Dayton, Idaho in 1954 where he was active in FFA. He was the District Boxing Champion in 1954. He attended Idaho State College in Pocatello, Idaho and received his Technical Certificate in automotive repair in 1957. He was employed as an automobile mechanic at Baugh Motor for 25 years and Wilson Motor for the last 18 years until the time of his death. He was an excellent, award-winning mechanic who strove to do every job right. He married Marilyn Lee Green of McCammon, Idaho, on August 3, 1956. They have made their home in River Heights, Utah for the last 39 years. He spent his leisure time hunting, raising rabbits, working in the yard and garden, golfing, camping with his family in their fifth wheel trailer, helping his neighbors, and keeping his family's cars in good running condition. He thoroughly enjoyed going to family reunions, visiting family and friends and sharing time with them. Because of his love for family and friends, he will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife, four sons, Douglas (Jill), River Heights; Howard, Providence; Allan (Debbi), Logan; Mark (Sean), Salt Lake City and one daughter, Mary Ellen (Chann) Poppleton, River Heights; seven grandsons; eight granddaughters; three great-grandsons; two step-grandsons; two step-granddaughters and one step-great-grandson; also, one brother, Dwight (Claudia) Cazenovia, New York; two sisters, Martha (Richard) Morgan, Payson, Ut; and Caryl Williams, Layton, Ut; and two former daughters-in-law, Barbara King, Hyrum, Utah and Lisa Jensen, Layton, Ut. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant son. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 30, 2002 at noon in the River Heights Chapel, 800 S. 600 E., Logan, Utah with Bishop Rod Ellis conducting. Friends may call Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 E. Center, Logan and at the chapel on Thursday from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. Interment will be in the Providence Cemetery, 900 E. River Heights Blvd., (300 S.), River Heights, UT
