OKeefe, 63, of Pocatello, passed away Saturday, November 3, 2001, at a local care facility. He was born the only son of Leo and Thella Moon (Jones) OKeefe in Malad, Idaho, on February 28, 1938. He attended Malad High School. On June 21, 1955, he married his high school sweetheart, Beula Brillhart. John and Beula were co-owners at the Blossom Shop in Malad. He worked for Morton-Thiokol for 30 years and retired in 1989. He then worked at School District #25, and retired in 1998, due to health concerns. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, making knives and being in the outdoors. John is survived by his wife, Beula OKeefe of Pocatello; daughters, Sheena McCoy and Joni OKeefe, both of Pocatello; grandchildren, Jennifer Roderick of Phoenix, Ariz.; John Henry (Candace) Roderick of Jiggs, Nev.; Bridgett Leavitt of Pocatello; Amber Reeder of Malad; Robbie McCoy of Pocatello; brothers-in-law, Blaine (Betty) Brillhart of Phoenix, Ariz.; Bill Feld of Pocatello; sisters-in-law, Betty Burt, Barbara (Royal) Littleford, Bernadine (Lyle) Kissel, all of Pocatello. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, November 6, 200, at the Mountainview Cemetery. A private family viewing will be held at a time prior to the services. The funeral arrangements are under the direction of Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 So. Fourth Ave.
