The Deseret News, Friday, July 27, 2001 Our beloved wife, mother, grandma and great-grandma, Faye Price Parker, 76, lost her valiant battle with metastic breast cancer on Wed. July 25, 2001, surrounded by her loving family. aye was born November 15, 1924 to John Morse and Ruth Williams Price in Samaria, Idaho. She married Ralph Tex Parker on April 15, 1941 in Samaria, Idaho, later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She and Tex recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. Faye dedicated her life to supporting her husband and family.In addition, she served her community in many ways. She was captain of the Granite Daughters of the Utah Pioneers camp, served faithfully in many church responsibilities, studied the of history of Granite and surrounding area and was a silver level ballroom dancer. She received several awards for her service and achievements with various organizations. Faye leaves a great legacy. She is survived by her children: Clark (Annie) Parker, Paradise, UT; Zane (Marion) Parker, Vancouver, WA; Tonya (Doug) Thorpe, Malad, ID; Penny (Louie) Hepworth, Centerville, UT; Tim (Lana) Parker, Wendall, UT; Larry (Christine) Parker, Naples, FL and Jilleen (Grant) Marchant, Granite, UT. She is also survived by 29 grandchildren, 28 great-grand-children, brothers Bill (Helen) Price and Jerry (Donna) Price and her sisters Ruth Powell, Verda Varga, Mary Behunin, Pearl Sterrett, Alta Knudsen and Patsy (Khalil) Scott. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Cleo and John, sister Lucille, grandson Shane Thorpe, and granddaughter Teresa Parker. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon, Monday, July 30, 2001 at the Bell Canyon Ward, 9880 South 3100 East. A viewing will be held Sunday, July 29, 2001 from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to services (11 a.m.) at the church where friends and family may call. Arrangements by SereniCare, Funeral Directors.
