Idaho State Journal, 07/29/01 MALAD — Mildred Alene Harris Morris Hildreth, 91, our beloved mother, grandmother and friend, passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2001, in the Oneida County Nursing Home. She was born August 5, 1909, in Daniels, Idaho, a daughter of Alvin and Diana Daniels Harris. She married William Leslie Morris September 27, 1927, in Malad, and the marriage was solemnized later in the Logan LDS Temple. They later divorced. She was married to John Hildreth, and they also divorced. Alene was a lifelong resident of Malad. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Alene is survived by her children, Diane (Farrell) Atkinson, Darlene (Paul) Evans and Dan Hildreth, all residing in Malad. Surviving also are 13 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Leslie Dale Morris; and two brothers, Lynn and Ralph Harris. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 31, 2001, at 12 noon in the Malad LDS Second Ward Chapel, 20 South 100 West. Friends may call at the Horsley Funeral Home, 132 W. 300 N., Malad, on Monday evening, July 30, 2001, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Tuesday at the funeral home from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Malad City Cemetery.
