Id Obits Forum Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Id/OneidaObits/10104 Surname: Alley, Thomas ------------------------- The Salt Lake Tribune, Sunday, June 3, 2001 Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt, Eleanor Thomas Alley, passed away May 30, 2001, in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was 92. Eleanor was born Feb 24, 1909, in Samaria, ID to James and Ann Thomas. She married George L. Alley, Jr. June 7 1934 in Malad, ID. Eleanor was devoted to her family and enjoyed spending time with them, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Although Eleanor suffered ill health for many years, she was not one to complain. Always positive in her outlook, Eleanor was never one to judge otheres and made friends easily. She is preceded in death by her husband, George L. Alley, Jr., and son, George L. Alley III. Survivors include daughter, Jacqueline (Gary) Cuthbert; son, Raymond G. Alley (Mary); daughter-in-law, Judie Alley; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and sisters, Mary W. Zundel and Ruth (Francisco) Hoyos. She has many wonderful nieces and nephews who will always remember their Aunt "Nen." The family wishes to thank the friends at Evergreen Canyons Nursing Home for their care and concern. Services were held for the family Saturday, June 2, 2001 at the Larkin Sunset Lawn Mortuary Interment, Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Salt Lake City, UT.
