He was born August 22, 1942 in Stone. He grew up and was educated in Stone and Malad. Wayne spend his life ranching, farming, and mostly trading cattle. He loved the outdoors and his horses. Wayne is survived by his four children; Diane (Ron Dell) Skidmore of Stone; Dennis (Jackie) Carter of Stone; Doug (Cheryl) Carter of Fort Hall; Deniece (Matt) Tubbs of Malad. 11 grandchildren; one brother, Gary Carter of Elwood, Utah and one sister, Terry of Buhl. He was preceded in death by his mother, Nina V. Carter Draper. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 14, 2001 in the Curlew LDS Ward Chapel in Snowville, Utah. Friends may call at the Horsley Funeral Home, 132 W. 300 N. in Malad this evening (Tuesday) from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday at the church in Snowville from 10:30 - 11:30. Burial will be in the Snowville Cemetery.
