She married Levi W. Hughes, Dec. 20, 1933 at Logan, UT. They celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary in 1983 before Levi's death, Feb. 2, 1986. Orilla loved working at her own home canning, gardening, cooking and was known for her industrious personality. She loved her family and was forever serving them. Everyone loved to come to her home to eat her delicious home-cooked meals and to enjoy her sweet spirit and beautiful smile. She was preceded in death by three brothers, two sisters: Elmer, Myrtle, Minne B. Davis, Warren Leland and Kenneth. She is survived by one sister, Vivian B. Christensen of Ft. Hall, ID; three daughters, Edwena Hughes Arends; Dorothy Hughes (Melvin) Spraker; and Marcene Hughes (Tom) Williams; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Memorial services, a program and a viewing will be held at the (Benson) Horsley Funeral Home Tuesday, April 8th, from 7-9 p.m. Funeral services and viewing will be held Wednesday from 12:30 p.m. at the Firth, ID, LDS Ward (3-4 blocks west of the Firth Cemetery).
