Richards, 74, died Friday, January 31, 2003 in Spokane, Washington.He was born February 8, 1928 in Malad City, Idaho, a son of Parley and Ethel Greer Richards. Griffith served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He moved to California shortly after graduating from high school. He taught for many years at Stanford University. He completed his Doctorate Degree in Speech Pathology and then worked at San Francisco State University until his retirement. Surviving are two sisters and one brother, Parla (Max) Montgomery, Beverly (Dennis) Staley, and David (Joyce) Richards. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, February 5 at 10 a.m. at the Malad, Idaho City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a Hospice of your choice.
