I've posted a couple of photos of Carmarthen. You take the train to Carmarthen, and then a bus through the hilly pass to Pencader. It's a beautiful trip! There are two cemeteries in the Valley. The older one is in the churchyard, the other across the Valley. No question about it, aside from seeing Deschamps, Illum and a few other different surnames, these cemeteries in Pencader are a carbon copy of the St. John Cemetery where most of my immigrant ancestors are buried in the Malad Valley.
