She was born August 6, 1911, in Logan, Utah, to Alfred Joseph Clark Jr. and Lydia Mitchell. One of six children, she grew up on a farm in Daniels, Idaho, and attended schools in Oneida County and was a graduate of Logan High School. On February 17, 1934, she married Vernon Iverson Monson. They were later sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple for time and all eternity, and together they served an LDS Mission in Roanoke, Virginia. Wanda loved her family, enjoyed spending time doing needlepoint, decorating her home, and creative cooking for her family and friends. She was known for her delightfully delicious homemade butter mints. She is survived by her sister, Dorothy King of Malad, Idaho; a brother, Delmar M. Clark of Malad; a son, Terry Monson of Leslie, ID; a daughter, Tamara Toomer of Fresno, CA; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 24, 2003, at 12:00 p.m. at Benson Horsley Funeral Home, Malad, Idaho. The family will visit with friends one hour prior to the funeral services. Burial will be in The Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road, South Ogden, Utah at 3 p.m.
