Id Obits Forum Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Id/OneidaObits/69 Surname: Peck, Haws, Cornia ------------------------- Idaho State Journal, Sunday, December 3, 2000 BLACKFOOT - Ralph Devere Peck, 78, died on Friday, December 1, 2000, at Bingham Memorial Hospital in Blackfoot following an extended illness. He was born in Malad, Idaho, on May 15, 1922, to Ralph F. and Thelma Haws Peck. On May 30, 1942, he was married to Eva Cornia Peck. Together they raised one daughter, Michele Peck Behrend. Ralph was a member of the U.S. Army and served our country overseas in Iran and India from November 5, 1942, until November 18, 1945. He is survived by his wife; one daughter, Michelle (Jeff) of Blackfoot; one grandson, Jeff Behrend Jr. (Kathleen) of Blackfoot; and one granddaughter, Christan Behrend of Blackfoot. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and one brother. Graveside funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 6, 2000, at 1 p.m. in the Groveland Cemetery. The family will meet with friends prior to services from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at the Hawker Hill Sandberg Funeral Home. Military services will be under the direction of the American Legion Stewart Hoover Post #23 with C. Dean Hill, commander. The family requests that donations be made in lieu of flowers to the Veterans Home in Pocatello.
