She was born October 7, 1902, in Malad, Idaho, a daughter of David Morgan and Ella Elizabeth Thomas. She was raised and educated in Malad, and was a graduate of Malad High School. She married Earl Lusk on February 25, 1925, in Malad, Idaho. For many years she was employed by the J.C. Penney store in Malad, the American Food Store, and as a secretary for the Davis Water Company in Malad. Ada was a very active member of the Reorganized LDS Church. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting and especially loved being with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by a daughter, Ada Gibbs of Malad; and a son, Earl Ferrel Lusk (Marilyn) of Boise; four grandsons and eight great-grandchildren, nine great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three sisters, Edith Dechambeau, Eliza Ward and Sara Palmer, and two brothers, Melvin R. Thomas and David M. Thomas, and a son-in-law, Don V. Gibbs. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2001, in the Horsley Funeral Home, 132 W. 300 N., Malad, at 1 p.m. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday at 11 a.m. prior to service. Burial will be in the Malad City Cemetery.
