He was born Jan. 11, 1955, in Salt Lake City, the son of Lyman James and Jeaninne Anderson Clark. He attended elementary school in Preston. He moved to Walnut Creek, Calif., and then to Hacienda Heights, Calif. He graduated from Los Altos High School, where he met his sweetheart, Vickie Lynn Downs. They were married Dec. 15, 1973. They had two children and then moved to Preston, where they had two more children. He was a CNA/scrub tech at the Oneida County Hospital in Malad, Idaho. Rick was active in scouting, earning his Wood Badge beads in 1983. He played and coached baseball, and he enjoyed riding his motorcycle. He is survived by his wife, Vickie, of Preston; four sons, Bill Clark of Preston, Zeb Clark of Preston, Bo (Shenell) Clark of Kennewick, Wash., Ian Clark of Kennewick, Wash.; his mother, Jeaninne of Hemet, Calif.; a brother, Jeff (Vicki) Clark of Hacienda Heights, Calif.; a sister, Staci of Sacramento, Calif.; and two granddaughters, Lizzy and Mikki. He is preceded in death by his father, Lyman Clark; and by grandparents, Wayne and Ethelle Anderson, and Albert and Verelle Grosjean. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 26, in the Preston Third Ward chapel, 155 N. 2nd West, with Bishop David Noyes conducting. Friends may call Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in the Malad, Idaho Cemetery.
