    3. I recently contacted the archaeologist for the Payette Nat'l forest, re: a "Heritage Program" pamphlet & he sent me an additional half-dozen, over & above the info on their website under "Learning/History & Culture." I have yet to condense the additional ones & get them on-line. If yours is a timbered county you might find good info on the forest service sites.   Sharon ________________________________ From: Matthew D. We will be having National Election in July 2012. The registration site will be closed at midnight May 31st and will remain closed for the duration of the election. To register or to update: http://www.usgwelections.org/. For those who were not around (another word, "newie") during our state election last September need to register for our election. If you have any trouble contact me or Christina Palmer < [email protected]>, a member of the EC. Okay, May's here and it should be May flowers this month. Are you guys in Idaho thawed out yet, especially you Oma in the in the tip of the panhandle? I hope you are doing well and enjoying the warmer weather. Arkansas is getting it really warm days and humidity setting in like the roar of the lion. Well, today's special because it's my guide dog's 8th birthday. We've been together for the past six years since I got her from the Guide Dog for the Blind school in San Rafael, California. My spouse is finish with her last class at UCA but has one more to complete her bachelor's degree. Me, well, I'm still struggling along with my graduate courses and trying to figure out when I will have time to review all of my research books to start my research paper. I've only got least then eight weeks to go. Oh! I just remember something ... this week or last weekend I put in a request to find more Idahoan Legacy Roots story to add to our website. I submitted to the IDAHO-L on Rootsweb mailing list. Well, I got five stories to add now. So folks, keep an eye out for our latest Legacy Roots family story soon. Thanks to Chris Storey and Sharon McConnel for sharing theirs. If you folks have a story to tell about your Idahoan roots, then past the along to me. Thanks for the support. Just curious!?! How is everyone enjoying the new look and features I've been adding to our website? Well, I hope all is well in your neck of the woods. Have a great weekend, Matt -- *Matthew D.
