It's time for August 2012 roll call. I hope many of you are enjoying your summer. Soon schools will be starting up and before we know it Fall will be here. Anyway, I hope this email finds all of you well and kicking. As for me, I finished up my classes a couple of weeks ago and will be starting up school again in September. My wife is doing better but still struggling to feel herself again. She also starting school in about three weeks at UCA. This month is bringing me to my 50th b-day on the 4th but honestly I'm not looking forward to it. I don't know why. Well I hope I can get through this heat we've been having lately, even the mornings are too warm to walk/jog. I've been doing lots of walk/jog during the week and lost over 18 lbs. I am aiming for more weight loss but this last bit going to be a bugger to lose. Well no news for the IDGenWeb Project to share with you. I glad for those who share them on our Facebook. I just passed 68, but have noticed an interesting thing. I'm REALLY enjoying this stage of life. Even though my kids and grandkids think I'm ancient, my health is relatively good and I don't feel old at all. So hang in there, you young whippersnappers. Be patient and you will eventually grow up! And I agree with Virginia. Keep that body moving. Happy birthday, Scott! Congrats on your house selling; we were on the market about that long, too, and finally sold last December. My husband was able to retire in March and has moved up here (Culdesac) to be with me and the doggies! -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of [email protected] Sent: Wednesday, August 01, 2012 3:32 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [IDGENWEB] August 2012 Monthly Roll Call - Aug. 1 2012 washington county here. what a day - not only did the movers arrive earlier than scheduled, but they loaded everything on the truck within 5 hours. now we'll drive across the country from spokane, washington to jefferson city, missouri. our house was on the market for 15 months, & our first offer on it was successful - closing is tomorrow, so we're jazzed. and today's my 50th birthday. all i want is a nap. and a very large glass of wine. not necessarily in that order. scot in spokane (for only 42 more hours) -----Original Message----- From: Matthew D. Checking in... for Benewah and Shoshone. School starts next Wednesday and I will be so happy. I will be able to focus more attentions on websites and everything. I have still been doing Indexing. Happy Birthday youngen <grins> Got years on you, but remember the day when I turned 50 and thought the end was near <grins>. Unfortunately, now I have to submit my resignation as county coordinator for Boundary County, for medical reasons. I do apologize, and wish it weren't necessary, but the time has come. I want to say thank you to all of you who have helped me, and been there to answer questions for me. Hopefully someone will be able to take this on.
