    3. Upon becoming State Coordinator in August, I implemented a periodic roll call and made it a requirement to respond in order to be a coordinator within IDGENWEB. I did a test roll call in August and then started a monthly roll call beginning in October. I do realize that other things happen in life that might result in one of you missing a roll call from time to time, but I believe that no response to all three roll calls over a four month period probably indicates that a coordinator is no longer active and a replacement needs to be sought. But I have also tried several times to contact each listed coordinator without receiving an answers. Below are the counties and the coordinators I have not heard from in any of our roll calls. If you are named, and want to retain your counties, please contact me privately as soon as possible. If you are a friend of one of these individuals and believe they would like to remain a coordinator, please encourage them to contact me privately. If contact between me and the missing individuals is not established soon, I will have no choice but to declare the counties involved vacant and adoptable. If you have a personal interest in adopting one of these counties, I'd be glad to put you on the waiting list and you would have priority should they become available. Counties I've not heard from: Bonneville Clearwater Fremont Gooding Jefferson Kootenai Lemhi Madison Coordinators I've not heard from: Charlotte Frew Cindy Vanlandingham Sally Walker Trinity Burak Mike St. Clair State Coordinator - IDGENWEB

I'm in the process of changing the email addresses on the main county page, http://www.idgenweb.org/idgenweb_main_counties.php, to make those addresses a little harder to read by programs which walk through web pages looking for email addresses to harvest. The links will still work exactly as at present, but the major part of the link will have each character replaced by a coded character. It's called "munging" and it keeps most of the address harvesters at bay. Do let me know if you find any problems in this process. Mike St. Clair

    3. I re-did my home page and updated a bunch of the other pages, then moved the Idaho County site to the new server. Just waiting for the okay to delete the old one. Any comments or suggestions to make it better are always welcome and appreciated. Added the Cottonwood Catholic Cemetery listings and am working on getting the Riggins and Whitebird headstone photos all added in the next week or so. I just received the following message from one of my state historical society contacts, in case anyone is interested in checking it out. ________________________________ Dear Students of Idaho History:   The internet is offering another opportunity to “sit at home and research the world!”  The journal of the Idaho State Historical Society, Idaho Yesterdays, is now available on-line.  See the memo below from a member of the Idaho State Historical Society.   Greetings! Thanks to the awesome help of Mags, we are getting obituaries uploaded, have birth records to organize, photos of the cemeteries, information on naturalization of a few people.
