    1. [IDGEN] New Location for IDGENWEB State Pages
    2. Mike St. Clair/ST
    3. I've just requested that USGENWEB point to our new state home page, at http://www.idgenweb.org/. Once that has happened I will make adjustments in the pages at Rootsweb to make sure our visitors will find us at the new location. I'm also ready to assign space on the new server to any counties that would like to reside there. Mike St. Clair State Coordinator - IDGENWEB

    3. The Tim Goodale variant went n. thru Gem Co., thru Indian Valley (Washington Co), then crossed at Hells Canyon. I went back thru there with (James?) McGill of the Ore-Calif Trail Assoc.,  a group from Canyon Co. & a BLM archeologist as McGill was marking trail.  I think  McGill has written a book that is to be published by the OCTA.  It's amazing where they took those wagons & in the heat of summer. ________________________________ From: Mike St. Clair/ST <mike@saintclair.org> To: idgen@rootsweb.com Sent: Wednesday, August 5, 2009 10:18:34 AM Subject: Re: [IDGEN] Roll Call: This is a test roll call I'm not Shirlene, but here are a couple of tastes of something I'm finishing up showing the Oregon/California Trail routes in Idaho counties.  These are based on an earlier version at the current Idaho State website. Lewis County Linda Simpson ----- Original Message ----- From: Mike St. Clair/ST To: idgen@rootsweb.com Sent: Tuesday, August 04, 2009 1:09 AM Subject: [IDGEN] Roll Call: This is a test roll call After I messed up on some of the "adopt me" list of counties, I decided it would be useful to me to proceed with a formal roll call. In a roll call, each member of the IDGENWEB Project on this required mailing list responds to let the rest of us know that you are there. I am planning to implement a monthly roll call in IDGENWEB. I haven't yet decided on the parameters. So consider this a test which in this case will last the rest of the month of August. Please respond with: - The counties for which you are the coordinator - Your name - Anything you would like to tell the rest of us about your website, like recent changes, road blocks, plans, etc. I'd appreciate your responding within the next few days if practical. If you happen to be away at this time, just respond when you get back. The best and preferred way is to Reply to this message. 3. I'm not Shirlene, but here are a couple of tastes of something I'm finishing up showing the Oregon/California Trail routes in Idaho counties. These are based on an earlier version at the current Idaho State website. Here is the home page, with the color key: http://www.idgenweb.org/idgenweb_detail_trail.php Here is the Bear Lake County page: http://www.idgenweb.org/idgenweb_detail_trail-bearlake.php Note that the clickable map isn't active yet. I'm getting close! Mike St. Clair P.S. If you haven't sampled Bear Lake, you really have to try it sometime. >From the Idaho side it get's deeper so gradually that even the toddlers can play in it safely. I took my family up there every year from the time I arrived in Utah 25 years ago until the last child left home. Now they all go up every year. -------------------------------------------------- From: "Sharon McConnel" <gem_genweb@yahoo.com> Sent: Wednesday, August 05, 2009 10:09 AM To: <idgen@rootsweb.com> Subject: Re: [IDGEN] Roll Call: This is a test roll call > Welcome!
