    3. We would like to announce the forming of a new organization the Cumberland Gap Tennessee Genealogy and History Group, A.K.A (CGTGHG) which propose to record and preserve. The goal of the group is to promote Genealogy with the recording of Pioneerâs and their descendantâs while also preserving and recording Cumberland Gapâs history. The CGTGHG hopeâs the Nation will get behind the group by submitting pioneerâs names, stories, pictures and Genealogies to be preserved for future generations to come.     2. I have several photos from Ashton, Idaho. My mother in law, Wilma Knudsen started teaching about 1926. I think these photos are of the children in the school, maybe age 13.     2. Sorry but I am unable to add to the rootsweb list. Does anyone know how I might locate historical genealogy for Chester, Idaho? My husband's father came from Denmark eventually coming by railroad I suppose to first Chester then eventually married in Ashton by 1928. We have been told he mioght have been a post master in Chester. We do know he owned the Mercantile in Ashton until 1941. His name was Niels P. Knudsen. Cashier/Bank Ruby Alice, Grandaughter, 1 10/12, Idaho Frieda, 24, NE, Stenographer/bank Elma, 22 ,NE Theodore, 17, NE The WWI Draft Registration Card Image Database: Clyde Ray Isenburg, born 8/4/1892 in Emerson, NE, banker at the First National Bank in Ashton, ID, married. He registered on June 5, 1917 (National Registration Day). He was living and working in Ashton. CA Death Index: Clyde Ray, born 8/4/1892 in NE, died 25 April 1946 in Los Angeles Co., mothers maiden name Betche. Both Gus (death 1935) and Jennie (death 1946) are buried in the Pineview Cemetery, Ashton. There is another Isenburg buried in the same cemetery, first name, birth and death dates unknown. Clyde Ray Isenburg, 21 Residence: Ashton, Fremont Co., ID married in Salt Lake City 1 Aug 1922 Erma Lee Fox, 21 Residence: Lamad, Ponnce, Kansas Certificate #AO40182, FHL No. 429,119 Source: Western States Marriage Record Index. I haven't been able to find anything about Ada neither her marriage or death. Maybe her death wasn't included in the death index. The state of Idaho began collecting death information at the state level in July, 1911. Death certificates are on microfilm at the Idaho State Historical Society Library and Archives, www.history.idaho.gov/archives-research-requests. There is always the possibility that they divorced. Divorces are handled by the local district or probate court. Contact the Fremont County Recorder if they have divorce records that early. Successful Searching! Many people in Utah and Idaho are descended from Thomas and Elizabeth (Russell) Archibald. Thomas Archibald died in Scotland but Elizabeth Russell Archibald came to Wellsville with several of her children. Some went to Idaho and some went to Canada. A family reunion for all descendants of Elizabeth Russell Archibald is being planned for Saturday, Sept 8, 2012 at the Wellsville, Utah bowery by cousin Brandon Sundeen. He is planning games for the younger children, sharing of family history info for the adults, followed by a memorial service at the Wellsville Cemetery. Food is POT LUCK.
