She was born January 24, 1920, in Franklin, Idaho, to William and Zina Hansen Hope. She married Arnold Kendall April 3, 1935, in Logan, Utah. They had 5 children, Clarice, Larry, Doyle, Lila and Raylene. They moved to Aberdeen in 1938 to be close to her sister Lois. She loved her crafts, including quilting with her friends, playing cards, glass projects, crocheting dolls and doilies and working in the Aberdeen Senior Center. She enjoyed her work at the Dvorak Drug Store where she cashiered and made ice cream sodas for 15 years. She is survived by 4 children, Clarice Armstrong of Chubuck, Larry (Cora) Kendall, Doyle Kendall (Cindy Licause) of Aberdeen, and Raylene (Bob) Tanner of Inkom; 14 grandchildren, Steve (JoLynn) Mitchell, Clayton (Collene) Mitchell, Wendy (Dee) Jorgensen, Shane (Michelle) Mitchell, Debbie (Cecil) Reed, Carla (Kip) Poulson, Brian (Jennifer) Kendall, Michelle (Dale) Corbridge, Fawn Kendall, Rusti (Kirk) Anderson, Karalee (Rob) Reinhardt, Deon Tanner, Deana (Travis) Holt and Danielle Tanner; 35 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Arnold and infant daughter Lila, twin infant grandsons, her parents, 4 brothers and 5 sisters. The viewing will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, September 30, 2008, at Davis-Rose Mortuary, 170 Idaho St., American Falls. There will also be a viewing on Wednesday, October 1, 2008, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Aberdeen, 10-10:45 a.m. with the funeral service following at 11 a.m. The Interment will be follow at the Aberdeen Cemetery.
