She was born August 25, 1933, at Thatcher, Idaho, the daughter of Henry George and Grace Margaret Hoopes Harris. Bonnie had also lived in Thatcher, Soda Springs and the last six and a half years in Pocatello. She graduated from Grace High School. She married Ronald Jay Davis April 2, 1953, at Thatcher, Idaho. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. Ron passed away March 6, 2006. Bonnie was a member of the Soda Springs LDS Fourth Ward. She had served in various positions through the years. She had worked for Monsanto and the Quick Stop convenience store in Soda Springs for many years. She enjoyed being with her family. Survivors include two sons, Ricky F. Davis, Chubbuck, Idaho, Rodney H. and Tami Davis, and a daughter, Kathryn Davis Fisher, all of Soda Springs. Surviving also are 11 grandchildren and 19 greatgrandchildren. Bonnie was also preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Davis Jeppsen, a brother, Ellis K. Harris, and a great-granddaughter, Taylie Lynne Conger. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, September 19, at noon at the Hooper LDS Chapel in Soda Springs. Friends may call on Thursday evening at the Sims Funeral Home from 7 to 8 p.m., and on Friday at the Hooper Chapel from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. prior to services. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery in Soda Springs. Services are under the direction of the Sims Funeral Home. Condolences may be given online at www.simsfh.com.
