She was born February 9th, 1917 in Oxford, Idaho to George L Stones and Rosella V Kendall. She married G. Dean Benson in Logan, Utah on November 25th, 1932 and they were sealed in the Logan LDS Temple on June 5th, 1959. Her most prominent position and life's work was working in the genealogy department at the Granite Vault. She was an active member of the LDS church. She is preceded in death by husband, Dean Benson, brothers, Joe, Ray, and Arnold; sisters, Dora and Verda Mae; and son-in-law Howard Rasmussen. She is survived by brothers, Argel, Orin and Dennis; sister, Audrey, and children, Joan Rasmussen, Larry (Connie) Benson, LuWaine (Lu) (David) Roth, Lynn (Janet) Benson, and Evelyn (Larry) Ostberg; 18 grandchildren, 37 great-grand-children, and 25 great-great-grand-children and her prized Schn! iff. We would like to thank the Care Source Staff, especially Yolanda Tan. Funeral services will be held at the London Derry 6th Ward, 11164 S. London Derry Dr. Sandy, Utah at 12:00 noon, Saturday January 26th, 2008, & a viewing will be held from 10:45-11:45 a.m. Family and friends may call at Larkin Sunset Gardens 1950 E. 10600 S.
