Jensen was born Sep. 4, 1946, to Delbert and Clea Jensen of Weston, Idaho. He grew up on the family farm and enjoyed horse riding and playing basketball. He graduated from Bear River High School in 1963, where he was the Outstanding Athlete and a member of the debate team that won state and regional honors. After attending Dixie College on an athletic scholarship, he joined the Army during the Vietnam War. When he returned home, he went back to school and graduated with a BS degree in finance from the University of Utah. He managed a finance company's office in Tulsa, Okla., before managing the office of a leasing company in Las Vegas, Nev. In 1978 he moved to California, where he managed an office for Kramer-Wilson Insurance Company located in San Francisco. Jeffrey passed away Jan. 21, 2008, after many years of bravely battling symptoms caused by multiple sclerosis. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Teresa Jensen of Hayward, Calif.; his sisters, Susan Holzwarth of Ogden, Utah, Karen Chamberlain of Show Low, Ariz.; his brother, David Jensen of White City, Ore.; and his nieces and nephews whom he dearly loved. Jeffrey was always cheerful and happy and a joy to be around. He will be sorely missed by his family and many friends. Family and friends are invited to attend services at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 26, 2008, in the Trenton Cornish Chapel, 11400 N. Hwy 33, Trenton, Utah. A viewing will be held from 10 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services at the church. Interment will be in the Cornish Cemetery. Condolences may be extended to the family online at www.nelsonfuneralhome.com.
