She was born May 5, 1916, in Dayton, the daughter of Joseph Hyrum and Emma Beatrice Davis Page. She received her education in Preston, graduating from Preston High School. She married Elmo George Richman on Dec. 24, 1935, in the Logan, Utah, LDS Temple. In 1944, they moved to Burley, where they farmed in the Unity area. In 1966, they relocated to the Springdale area, where they operated a dairy farm until retirement. Vera was a wonderful homemaker and used her attributes in raising five sons. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, gardening, woodworking, painting and was an avid reader. As an active member of the LDS Church, Vera served faithfully in the auxiliary organizations. She had served as a Relief Society president and as a Primary worker for more than 30 years. She especially enjoyed doing temple work. She is survived by her sons, Larry (Karen) Richman of Meridian, Brent (Susan) Richman of Beaverton, Ore., Reed (Peggy) Richman of Rexburg and Monte (Elaine) Richman of Burley; three brothers, Leo D. (Nelda) Page of Tucson, Ariz., Lynn (Betty) Page of Meridian and James Glen (Verna) Page of Burley; 16 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren. Vera was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Elmo, who died in 1986; one son, Dan Richman, who died in 1963; and four brothers, Wilton, Frank, Ross and Ivan Page. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 14, at the Springdale LDS Church, 559 E. 200 S. of Burley, with Bishop Jared C. Johnson officiating. Burial will be in the Gem Memorial Gardens in Burley. Friends may call from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday at the Rasmussen Funeral Home, 1350 E. 16th St. in Burley, and from 10 until 10:45 a.m. Saturday at the church. .
